I was really into Donnie Darko a while ago, and I'm still obsessed with this song.
I think that it fits Gaara pretty well.

This part of the chorus is definitely my favorite part of the song, and I think that it matches how Gaara thinks.
I like it because it's a whole pile of Gaara contradiction.
Gaara knows how his life has been, and he was born to live for his mother. He can't sleep, either. He can't dream to die.
Do you see why I like it, and think it fits him?
